Alchemy is used to create potions and some reagents for other skills. Potions temporarily raise the level of their designated skill by a certain percentage of the base value of that skill. Potions cannot be used to equip armor or weapons. You can use a Farming Potion to equip seeds above your skill level if the Small Potion of Farming raises your level high enough. NOTE: Rake all soil before using potion to plant to give you the longest planting time. Trick: Use Farming Queue in Queueing mode, equip one lower level seed then click each plot to load queue with 'Plant'. Load inv with Small Potion of Farming and your higher level seeds. Click potion, equip the seed then press 'Spacebar' to 'Plant',

Filling vials with water requires a water well: These are located in most towns.

Mixing the ingredients for potions requires no special location. Just select the ingredients in your Inventory and you will begin making potions. Potion making is an auto-process so once you start you will continue making potions until you run out of ingredients or vials.

Vials

All vial recipes only require 2 sand . The best place to gather sand close to a chest is Reval (via Mining). Equip the Sand and click on a Furnace to smelt into vials.

Potions

NOTE: Potions are temporary and boost your stats by the % shown. Potion power diminishes at one point per minute so a potion that gives you +5 Strength lasts one minute and becomes +4 Strength for one minute continuing to decrease until the effects wear off. Potions cannot be used to meet equipment requirements. Using two does not increase the boost time or power level.
