Cooking is a skill that creates food from cooking ingredients that come from fishing, farming, or monster drops. It allows the player to make food that gives health, the main method for restoring health in-game.

Cooking can only be done using ingredients that can be cooked and using the main non-mobile cooking tools, the campfire or the kettle.

Potions

Potions of cooking can be crafted using the Alchemy skill and are crafted in your inventory. Drinking a potion adds the associated percentage to your current base skill effectively raising your success rate. Each level raised lasts one minute and continues to drop until it wears off. You cannot use a potion of cooking to equip a raw fish beyond your base skill level. Potion effects do not stack.

The Cooking Tools

1. Campfire  

Allows the cooking of "raw" foods by equipping them and using them on the fire. This is the most simple and standard form of cooking available to the player. 

Food here is made from a single raw ingredient. Almost every city has a campfire located within it, and some campfires can be found outside of the friendly cities. 

2. Kettle  

This allows the cooking of foods with the combination of different ingredients. The only three cities with a kettle are Dorpat, Reval and Narwa.

Foods created using the kettle use more than one ingredient, one raw ingredient and some number of other ingredients. This allows for foods that provide a higher healing bonus than standard foods. To use, only equip the raw fish while having the other ingredients of sufficient quantity in your inventory.
